In the comics, the symbiotic anti-hero Venom (played by Tom Hardy in Sony’s Marvel Universe) couldn’t have existed without Tom Holland’s Spider-Man. On the big screen, that wasn’t the case to many fans’ dismay.
Long before we knew that they were set in separate universes, fans speculated if we might see Tom Holland’s Spider-Man and Tom Hardy’s Venom share the screen. For a while, there were rumors of Tom Holland being seen on the set of Venom, possibly hinting at a Spider-Man cameo in the film, but those reports proved to be false.
Thankfully, this new fan art by Diego Designer on Instagram gives a look at what a meeting between Tom Holland’s Spider-Man and Tom Hardy’s Venom may look like.
