Tom Holland decided to wish fellow Spider-Man: Far From Home lead Zendaya a happy birthday with an image from the movie’s press tour that took place earlier this year.
While Tom Holland and Zendaya were on the press tour to promote the latest Spider-Man film, she dyed her hair red in order to pay homage to Mary Jane Watson. Zendaya’s character, Michelle “MJ” Jones, is directly inspired by the classic Spider-Man love interest, although she has some distinctions from the comic book character.
You can see the image Tom Holland posted, and the caption specifically aimed at Zendaya, below:
Tom Holland has genuinely great chemistry with Zendaya, and as he’s set to play Spider-Man for years, we can only hope that the two wind up together in the films. In any case, good on Tom Holland for being a friend to his co-star!
Tom Holland and Zendaya were last seen together in Spider-Man: Far From Home. Here is the official synopsis for the movie:
Following the events of Avengers: Endgame, Spider-Man must step up to take on new threats in a world that has changed forever.
