A new behind-the-scenes set video from Netflix’s The Sandman series reveals Tom Sturridge as Morpheus.
The highly-anticipated television adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s comic book of the same name has been in production since October. The project was previously set to be a film adaptation for Warner Bros. Pictures andwas pitched by writer David S. Goyer. Goyer was previously attached to produce the film alongside Neil Gaiman and actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt was also attached to star in the film and possibly direct it before departing over creative differences.
After being in development hell for quite some time, the project shifted from being a film to a television series for Netflix. Tony Award-nominee Tom Sturridge will play Morpheus AKA Dream in the highly-anticipated series, and a set video gives us a look at him in the role.
