If there is anything I am looking forward to with Transformers: The Last Knight, it’s the visuals. Immediately, you would assume that I am referring to the visual effects (which is true), but I am also referring to the landscapes in which the VFX artists will implement their magic with. Recently, we reported that production has moved to Scotland and that there may be a connection to King Arthur in the new film.
Now, director Michael Bay has shared a brand new video on his Instagram account from the set. Bay is shown on top of some of Scotland’s gorgeous mountains along with his crew. Behind him, a helicopter is hovering in the air, with what I assume is a camera attached to the front. You can check out the video down below.
For what Michael Bay’s Transformers films lack in storytelling, it compensates in pure, visual stimulation. The action sequences have always been top notch, and all the films have excelled in the action sequences that blend the computer generated imagery seamlessly with the natural settings. If nothing else, I hope this set video signals that we will be seeing an epic action sequence on top of these mountains.
Transformers: The Last Knight opens in theaters June 23, 2017.
