‘Twilight‘ Star Taylor Lautner Replaces Robert Pattinson As Batman In Hilarious New Video

Twilight Taylor Lautner Robet Pattinson Batman

Twilight star Taylor Lautner decided to take over the role of Batman from Robert Pattinson in a hilarious new video.

Warner Bros.’ The Batman will offer audiences a new interpretation of the iconic hero with Robert Pattinson in the role. The upcoming DC film marks a rare return to Hollywood blockbusters for Robert Pattinson, who has largely avoided big-budget spectacles since his days working on the Twilight film series with co-stars Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner.

Now, Taylor Lautner has seemingly decided to follow Robert Pattinson’s lead and try out being Batman himself in a new video posted on his official Instagram. In the video, Taylor Lautner can be seen jumping out of a trash bin while wearing a cheap Batman cowl and sumo wrestling outfit, all while the Mission: Impossible theme plays in the background.

Full plot details on The Batman are currently under wraps, though the film is known to center around a younger Bruce Wayne and feature a Rogues’ Gallery of villains that includes Catwoman, The Penguin, and The Riddler. Following the Caped Crusader during his formative years as Gotham City’s protector, the film will make use of the Dark Knight’s detective skills to a greater extent than previous adaptations. It is expected to be the first chapter in a new trilogy with Robert Pattinson as Batman.

Directed by Matt Reeves from a script he co-wrote with Mattson Tomlin, The Batman stars Robert Pattinson as the Caped Crusader, Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, Paul Dano as the Riddler, Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner James Gordon, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, Peter Sarsgaard as Gil Colson, Jayme Lawson as Bella Reál, with Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, and Colin Farrell as the Penguin.

The Batman is currently scheduled to be released in theaters on June 25, 2021.
