Unused ‘Titans’ Promotional Image Features The Full Team Assembled

An unused promotional image for DC Universe’s flagship series Titans has surfaced, revealing a new look at the full superhero team assembled.

The new series follows a grown-up Dick Grayson working as a Detective in Detroit, having left his nights with the Caped Crusader long in the past due to having fundamental differences with Batman’s methods and approach to crimefighting before becoming the leader of the heroes known as the Titans.

The first season of concluded with the tease of Connor Kent / Superboy and Krypto the Super Dog joining the second season. Production on the next season is scheduled to begin  Now, the second season of Titans is scheduled to begin production in Toronto this March and expected to wrap by early September.

The image itself appears to be from Entertainment Weekly’s promotional shoot which did not feature Hawk and Dove united with Robin, Raven, Beast Boy, and Starfire. You can check it out below.

Titans follows young heroes from across the DC Universe as they come of age and find belonging in a gritty take on the classic Teen Titans franchise. Dick Grayson and Rachel Roth, a special young girl possessed by a strange darkness, get embroiled in a conspiracy that could bring Hell on Earth. Joining them along the way are the hot-headed Starfire and loveable Beast Boy. Together they become a surrogate family and team of heroes.

The series stars Brenton Thwaites as Richard “Dick” Grayson / Robin, Anna Diop as Koriand’r / Starfire, Teagan Croft as Rachel Roth / Raven, and Ryan Potter as Garfield “Gar” Logan / Beast Boy.

Titans is now available exclusively on DC Universe in the U.S. and on Netflix internationally.
