Upcoming ‘Power Rangers’ Film Is Getting A VR App

Power Rangers

Saban Brands and Lionsgate have partnered with the Qualcomm Snapdragon to release a virtual reality app – titled “Power Rangers Zords Rising” – for their upcoming Power Rangers film.

The app will feature Zordon, Alpha 5, and a plethora of Zords for players to control with their headset. The app will feature a full sense of immersion, meaning you can finally live your dreams of being in a Zord. Unfortunately, the admission price for this VR app will require you to have a Qualcomm Snapdragon headset, so if you don’t have one, it’s best to run out and grab one.

A teaser trailer was released for the app, and you can check it out below.

You can download the app on March 8th from the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and VR.

The story follows five ordinary teens who must become something extraordinary when they learn that their small town of Angel Grove – and the world – is on the verge of being obliterated by an alien threat. Chosen by destiny, our heroes quickly discover they are the only ones who can save the planet. But to do so, they will have to overcome their real-life issues and before it’s too late, band together as the Power Rangers.

  • Bill

His Marvel movie would be more factually accurate than Hidden Figures

  • Brownstones19

    maybe captain marvel?

    • Roby D’Ottavi

I think Marvel will really push for a female director on that one.

      One can only hope.

      • Brownstones19

I think yeah that’s likely, but if he managed to well represent his leads (haven’t seen Hidden Figures) then why not?

      • Carl

I don’t get the hope for a female director. It’s nice to consider them but they should be considered for any project not just a female led superhero movie. I don’t want them to pick a woman like Patty Jenkins who directed 1 movie 14 years ago.

  • Matias Gagliardone

    won* not one

    • SAMURAI36

      Yeah, *shakes head*

    Did you really just say:

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is home to some of the best directors in the game.

The only director that even remotely fits that description, is Shane Black, and even that’s pushing it. The rest are mediocre at best.

C’mon Robi, quit the fanboying. 1 step forward, 2 steps back.

      Yo, Sammy.

You know Branagh has been nominated for 5 Academy Awards, right?

      • Origami Rose

        owned. Lol
