In a series of Instagram posts, Vanessa Hudgens expressed how much she would love to play Catwoman in Matt Reeves’ The Batman.
Matt Reeves’ The Batman will reportedly feature multiple villains and fan-favorite Catwoman is said to be one of the many antagonists who will confront the Caped Crusader. While casting details for Catwoman are currently under wraps, Vanessa Hudgens is rumored to be a contender for the role of the master cat burglar, who frequently shifts between being a lover and adversary to Batman in the comics.
While the rumor remains unverified at this moment, Vanessa Hudgens openly expressed her willingness to play Catwoman in Matt Reeves’ The Batman through a series of posts in her Instagram stories feed. In fact, Vanessa Hudgens described Catwoman as a “dream role” in a caption included with one of the photos she shared.
If she's responding openly like this, then that entire rumored cast list for The Batman is pretty much a fake.
But she's definitely hyped about wanting to play Selina. pic.twitter.com/RHWaC6Vybs

Veteran X-Men producer Simon Kinberg makes his directorial debut with Dark Phoenix in addition to producing the film with Hutch Parker, Lauren Schuler Donner and Todd Hallowell. Dark Phoenix is expected to be Fox's final X-Men film featuring the core X-Men cast in the cinematic universe launched by director Bryan Singer in 2000 with the Disney-Fox merger now complete.
X-Men: Dark Phoenix stars James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Tye Sheridan, Sophie Turner, Alexandra Shipp, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Evan Peters, and Jessica Chastain. Here's the film's synopsis:
“This is the story of one of the X-Men’s most beloved characters, Jean Grey, as she evolves into the iconic DARK PHOENIX. During a life-threatening rescue mission in space, Jean is hit by a cosmic force that transforms her into one of the most powerful mutants of all. Wrestling with this increasingly unstable power as well as her own personal demons, Jean spirals out of control, tearing the X-Men family apart and threatening to destroy the very fabric of our planet. The film is the most intense and emotional X-Men movie ever made. It is the culmination of 20 years of X-Men movies, as the family of mutants that we’ve come to know and love must face their most devastating enemy yet — one of their own.”
