Vin Diesel recently expressed interest in splitting Fast And Furious 10 in two parts to give back to the loyal fans of the franchise.
While fans of the series are gearing up for Vin Diesel’s Fast and Furious 9, the star recently mentioned that he’s envisioned that Fast and Furious 10 would be split in two parts. Vin Diesel’s Fast and Furious 9 will see Dominic Toretto go up against his brother Jakob and old enemy Cipher, played by Jon Cena and Charlize Theron respectively. However, it seems like Fast and Furious franchise has plenty more to do before it finally wraps up the main series.
In an interview with Total Film, Vin Diesel revealed that he started planning the tenth instalment before work began on Fast and Furious 9. The star explained that splitting Fast and Furious 10 into two parts would allow the cast to honor the dedicated fans of the franchise as well as giving something back to Universal for allowing them to play in that universe. Fast and Furious 10 would seemingly set up spin-offs to continue the franchise even further. Take a look at Vin Diesel discussing splitting Fast and Furious 10 below.
“I started planning for Fast 10 before we started filming Fast 9. Very much so. The universe is so robust and so rich with talent and rich with story that, on one level, it’s totally feasible to have spinoffs, and I think that’s something that is inevitable. Universal deserves it because of how much they’ve invested in this little saga, and it’d be good to give back to Universal. And for the fans, should Fast 10 parts one and two be the conclusion, it would be nice for this world to continue for generations to come.”

Vin Diesel’s Dom Toretto is leading a quiet life off the grid with Letty and his son, little Brian, but they know that danger always lurks just over their peaceful horizon. This time, that threat will force Dom to confront the sins of his past if he’s going to save those he loves most. His crew joins together to stop a world-shattering plot led by the most skilled assassin and high-performance driver they’ve ever encountered: a man who also happens to be Dom’s forsaken brother, Jakob (John Cena, next year’s The Suicide Squad).
