It has been over a month since audiences last saw Carol and Morgan on The Walking Dead. With Morgan making a home at The Kingdom and Carol settling in a home not far from the community, it appeared both were relatively safe from the threat of the Saviors, especially compared to Rick and his group. However, a new clip from the upcoming mid-season finale hints that both Carol and Morgan could soon be called upon to confront Negan and the Saviors sooner than expected.

The clip features Carol in her newly refurbished home as she receives a visit from Morgan, who comes offering food. Though Morgan claims that he was summoned by Carol, she quickly tries to convince him to leave until they are both visited by a member of The Kingdom, who explains that he has something important to discuss. The preview for the episode indicates that Negan and the Saviors will be at least one topic of the conversation. You can check out the clip below!

An official description of the extended 85 minute episode titled “Hearts Still Beating” reads:

Negan’s unwelcome visit to Alexandria continues as other members scavenge for supplies; things quickly spin out of control.

The Walking Dead mid-season finale will air on Sunday at 9:00 pm ET on AMC.
