The Walking Dead Season 9 Shane

The long-awaited return of Shane (Jon Bernthal) to The Walking Dead is finally here and director Greg Nicotero has revealed the character’s new look to fans.

The Walking Dead has seen a lot of characters come and go. Some of the earlier seasons have been compared to Game of Thrones by many fans due to how they would kill off beloved characters in shocking ways, such as the death of Shane (Jon Bernthal) in season two. The character is set to make a return in some form during the latest episode of the series, along with Herschel (Scott Wilson), who met his demise during the show’s third season.

Greg Nicotero, who has a very prolific career in the horror genre, will be directing the latest episode of The Walking Dead and prior to the release of the new episode, he has taken to social media to share an emotional thank you to those who helped in bringing the episode to the small screen. The Instagram post, which can be seen below, features an image of departing star Andrew Lincoln alongside Jon Bernthal. Check it out below.

As Rick’s (Andrew Lincoln) departure from The Walking Dead approaches, it’s only fitting that characters like Shane and Herschel return in some form. Although the ratings for the series have steadily dropped over time, especially during this current season, Rick’s departure is sure to be an emotional, heartbreaking moment for long-time fans of the series, no matter which way the creative forces behind the show decide to send him off.

There’s a recipe for disaster. He made one good HP film and repeated it three more times. WB are the kings of bland franchises right now.

Maybe “Fantastic Beasts” will be good (and I am looking forward to it), but the idea of one guy directing NINE films in the same franchise is ludicrous.

He directed all the HP that I don’t like so I’m disappointed. I think the series was better on it’s first years, because 3 different directors outta 4 movies insufflated a fresh air to the franchise with every new release.

Yates is a bland director, to be honest. His movies all look the same.
