‘The Walking Dead’ Episode Synopses Tease Andrew Lincoln’s Exit From The Series

The Walking DeadThe synopses for the remaining Walking Dead episodes of the year might reveal when Rick Grimes’ exit from the series will occur.

With The Walking Dead heading into its ninth season, actors Andrew Lincoln and Lauren Cohan are ending their run on the series. Of course, Lincoln plays the main character of the series and the show is about to head into a new direction with his departure at the season’s midway point. AMC has created an event out of Lincoln’s exit promoting, “Rick’s final episodes” with trailers and posters. It is currently unknown which episode will see the end of Rick but Comicbook.com has shared new episode synopses that may provide a clue as to when it might happen:

Episode 9×05 “What Comes After”

“Rick is forced to face the past as he struggles to maintain the safety of the communities and protect the future he and Carl envisioned.”

Episode 9×06 is titled, “Who Are You Now?”

Episode 9×07  “Stradivarius”

“Carol seeks out an old friend living alone in a wilderness teeming with walkers; survivors make the perilous trek to a new home.”

 Episode 9×08  “Evolution”
“A small rescue mission braves a dangerous herd in their hunt for a missing comrade, only to discover a surprising threat that could doom them all.”

New ‘Aquaman’ Movie-Themed Comic Variant Covers Spotlight Arthur & Mera

Aquaman DC Comics Arthur Curry MeraDC Comics has unveiled the Aquaman movie-themed variant covers for the Justice League/Aquaman: Drowned Earth crossover event.

DC Comics’ Justice League and Aquaman series’ will soon crossover for a story arc titled Drowned Earth and the publisher is releasing variant covers based on Warner Bros.’ upcoming film about the King of Atlantis to commemorate the event. Now, six variant covers featuring Jason Momoa’s Arthur Curry and Amber Heard’s Mera have been released with illustrations from artists Francis Manapul, Francesco Mattina, Lucio Parillo, Ben Oliver, Dale Keown, and Nicola Scott.

Justice League/Aquaman: Drowned Earth #1 will be available on October 31, 2018.

From Warner Bros.
