Warriors Three Seemingly Confirmed For ‘Thor: Ragnarok’

It seems Instagram has all but confirmed the Warriors Three are returning to Thor: Ragnarok. When the three actors that make up Thor’s trio of loyal Asgardian companions were left off the May cast announcement it seemed that the trio would be missing from the new film. What would the God of Thunder do without his faithful companions? Now, it seems that the Warriors Three are very much involved in filming the latest Thor installment.

Thanks to some sleuthing by ComicBookMovie.com, we can confirm at least two of the members of the Warriors Three are present in the Gold Coast of Australia, where filming for Thor: Ragnarok is taking place.  Ray Stevenson, who plays Volstagg the Voluminous, and Tadanobu Asano, who plays Hogun the Grim presences were confirmed on Instagram. Asano confirmed his own presence via his Instagram account yesterday.  In a separate Instagram post by PunkturedTattoo , it appeared Stevenson was getting some new ink. The post was captioned “Look who just stopped by our Gold Coast studio to get some ink in between filming THOR.”

And what about the third member of the Warriors Three, Fandral the Dashing? Zachary Levi, who plays the character, hinted at a possible return during San Diego Comic-Con. Jaimie Alexander, who plays Lady Sif, gave a nod to fans not to worry when the cast list was released and she wasn’t on it. It looks like Thor’s companions will be by his side after all.
