Academy Award winners Trent Reznorย and Atticus Ross will compose to the score for HBO’s Watchmen television series.
HBO’s Watchmen television series will transport audiences to the world created by comic book writer Alan Moore with a new story and The Leftovers producerย Damon Lindelof will serve as an executive producer. Now, composers Trent Reznorย and Atticus Ross, who won an Academy Award for their work on David Fincher’s The Social Network, are set to provide the music for the upcoming Watchmen series.
Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross’ previous film credits includeย Patriots Day, Gone Girl,ย the American remake of The Girl with the Dragon Tattooย and climate-change documentaryย Before the Flood. Of course, both are also known for their work with theย rock band Nine Inch Nails.
Set in an alternate history whereย โsuperheroes” are treated as outlaws, WATCHMEN embraces the nostalgia of the original groundbreaking graphic novel while attempting to break new ground of its own.

HBO’s Watchmen starsย Regina King, Jeremy Irons, Don Johnson, Tim Blake Nelson, Louis Gossett Jr., Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Andrew Howard, Tom Mison, Frances Fisher, Jacob Ming-Trent, Sara Vickers, and Dylan Schombing.
