A new sneak peek at HBO’s Watchmen teases the show’s upcoming New York Comic-Con panel.

While the premiere of Watchmen still over a month away, fans are eagerly awaiting the show’s New York Comic-Con panel where they’ll discover more about the HBO project before it premieres on October 20. The highly-anticipated series comes from executive producer Damon Lindelof based on Alan Moore and Dave Gibbon’s groundbreaking Watchmen graphic novel.

The new teaser not only tells fans that the New York Comic-Con panel takes place on Friday, October 4 on the mainstage of the Javits Convention Center at 3:45 PM, but highlights some of the biggest moments in the trailer — from Hooded Justice crashing through a store window, Doctor Manhattan on Mars and picking up a mask of his own face in a street to Archie flying through the air and blowing up a plane. Watchmen has quickly become one of the most fascinating shows to look forward to in 2019, so the panel will be something to tide fans over till the October 20 premiere. Set in an alternate history where “superheroes” are treated as outlaws, WATCHMEN embraces the nostalgia of the original groundbreaking graphic novel while attempting to break new ground of its own.

Watchmen stars Regina King, Jeremy Irons, Don Johnson, Jean Smart, Tim Blake Nelson, Louis Gossett Jr., Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Hong Chau, Andrew Howard, Tom Mison, Frances Fisher, Jacob Ming-Trent, Sara Vickers, Dylan Schombing, and James Wolk. The series is produced for HBO by White Rabbit in association with Warner Bros. Television, based on Alan Moore’s graphic novel co-created and illustrated by Dave Gibbons and published by DC.

Damon Lindelof’s Watchmen debuts in October 2019 on HBO.
