When it was announced that Supergirl would move from CBS in favour of The CW, fans instantly started imagining the opportunity for epic crossovers between their favourite DC heroes. Thankfully, this is happening. There will be a four-episode crossover featuring Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, and it’s coming soon.
It looks like the crossover is well underway in terms of production, so naturally a bunch of exciting photos of the actors are surfacing online. The latest of which is Melissa Benoist and Caity Lotz looking particularly happy to cross paths! They’re in character too, as Supergirl and White Canary respectively.

There’s potential for this photo to be from when they filmed Superhero Fight Club 2.0, but there’s a good chance that it’s not. We know Arrow is filming their 100th episode right now, and that’s already been confirmed to be part of the huge crossover event. It’d be reasonable to assume that other shows are shooting for their part in the crossover too.
We recently learned that the characters will join forces to fight the Dominators. They’ll be created using “cutting edge prosthetics and computer effects” to come life with a “feature film-quality look”, according to executive producer Marc Guggenheim.
Supergirl premieres on October 10th, and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow return on October 13th.
