Fans have taken to Twitter to share their thoughts on Warner Bros.’ decision to change the release date for Wonder Woman 1984.
Today, it was reported that the release date for Wonder Woman 1984 has been pushed back to the summer of 2020, nearly seven months after its previously set debut date in November. While most fans are disappointed to hear that they will have to wait a little longer for the highly-anticipated sequel, others are more curious about the reason behind the schedule change or seem to approve of the decision to move the release date out of the busy award season.

I have to wait until June 5, 2020 to see Wonder Woman 1984 and I can’t believe I’m going to have to stay alive that long pic.twitter.com/o2TSLxnxuA

WONDER WOMAN 1984 moving to Summer 2020 is fine by me. It’ll be something to look forward to in the Summer versus something plopped in the midst of a busy awards season when most of us are swamped.

I think moving Wonder Woman 1984 to June is a smart play. Wonder Woman released the first week of June and did pretty well all things considered

Warner Bros, why did you push back 'Wonder Woman 1984,' you know the only DC movie anyone was actually looking forward to?

Wonder Woman 1984 getting pushed back from November 2019 to June 2020 is interesting, and makes me think that Warner Bros has a lot of confidence in the Joaquin Phoenix Joker, which is scheduled for October 2019, and they want to give it more room to breathe.
