Wonder Woman 1984 director Patty Jenkins and cast members had a virtual birthday party for Pedro Pascal.
The coronavirus pandemic has forced governments across the globe to order people to remain at home as much as possible, all in an effort to slow the spread of the virus and protect the most vulnerable. Consequently, many are forced to celebrate occasions such as birthdays or anniversaries in self-isolation, including Pedro Pascal
Fortunately, technology has allowed most us to celebrate these events online through video chat programs such as Zoom and the creative team behind Wonder Woman 1984 took advantage of these tools to throw Pedro Pascal a virtual birthday party. In a photo originally shared on Gal Gadot’s official Instagram account, the Wonder Woman 1984 star can be seen gathering with Kristen Wiig, Chris Pine, and director Patty Jenkins through a video chat for Pedro Pascal’s 45th birthday.

The film is one of the many projects affected by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Originally scheduled to be released in early June, Warner Bros. opted to push the debut date to mid-August in hopes that the crisis will have abated by then and movie theaters, which have been forced to shut down, can re-open their doors.
Full details on the Wonder Woman 1984 plot are being kept under wraps, but the film is said to follow Gal Gadot’s Diana Prince as she comes into conflict with a formidable new adversary named Cheetah and businessman Maxwell Lord.
Directed by Patty Jenkins from a script she co-wrote with David Callaham and a treatment she developed with Geoff Johns, the film stars Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Kristen Wiig, Pedro Pascal, Natasha Rothwell, Ravi Patel, Gabriella Wilde, Connie Nielson, and Robin Wright.
Wonder Woman 1984 is currently scheduled to be released in theaters on August 14, 2020.
