Wonder Woman, the world’s first female-led installment of the DCEU starring Gal Gadot as the titular superheroine has now been officially certified fresh by Rotten Tomatoes.
The blockbuster which has been met with overwhelmingly positive reviews currently sits at 96% on the review aggregator. Wonder Woman is being regarded as the best DCEU film to date with high praise being given to Gadot for her emotional and nuanced performance as well as director Patty Jenkins for doing an exceptional job delivering a four-quadrant picture but most of all, a powerful feminine film that will inspire young women for generations to come.
The latest tracking shows a bump thanks to the positive critical response with tracking services now predicting the film could crack $90 million in its opening weekend at the domestic box office and a $175 million-plus opening weekend worldwide.
The film stars Gal Gadot as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, Chris Pine as Steve Trevor, Robin Wright as General Antiope, Connie Nielsen as Queen Hippolyta, Lisa Loven Kongsli as Menalippe, Danny Huston as General Erich Ludendorff, David Thewlis as Sir Patrick Morgan, Elena Anaya as Doctor Maru, Ewen Bremner as Charlie, Saïd Taghmaoui as Sameer and Eugene Brave Rock as the Chief.
