Cosplayer Lis Wonder shares a striking resemblance to Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot as seen in her DC Films appearances.

Thus far, Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot has appeared in three DC Films projects — Batman v Superman: Dawn of JusticeWonder Woman, and Justice League, with a fourth appearance in Wonder Woman 1984 on the way. A fifth appearance in a third DC Films Wonder Woman project is also highly likely, but not yet confirmed. Due to the character gaining a much larger profile than ever before, Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman has now seen an increase in cosplay as well.

One well-known cosplayer, Lis Wonder, has shared a new photo of herself on a beach, meant to represent Themyscira, Wonder Woman’s home before she sets off to fight as a champion for humankind. Check out the Gal Gadot look-alike wielding Wonder Woman’s signature sword and wearing her tiara below:

Lis Wonder has over 60,000 followers on Instagram, and she’s committed to high-quality cosplay of Wonder Woman as she appears in DC Films projects and other DC projects across all mediums. That she looks nearly identical to Gal Gadot is something that works to her favor, so we hope that she keeps herself committed to her hobby in cosplaying for quite some time.

Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman will next be seen in Wonder Woman 1984, which is expected to be followed by a third film in the series. Gal Gadot’s career skyrocketed following her appearances in three DC Films movies, and it’s likely that she’ll be involved with Wonder Woman for a while.

Full details on the Wonder Woman 1984 plot are currently under wraps, but the film is said to follow Gal Gadot’s Diana Prince as she comes into conflict with the Soviet Union in the 1980s and encounters a formidable new adversary named Cheetah, played by Kristen Wiig.

Directed by Patty Jenkins from a script she co-wrote with David Callaham and a treatment she developed with Geoff Johns, Wonder Woman 1984 stars Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Kristen Wigg, Pedro Pascal, Natasha Rothwell, Ravi Patel, Gabriella Wilde, Connie Nielson, and Robin Wright.

Wonder Woman 1984 is set to hit theaters on June 4, 2020. Stay tuned for the latest news on Gal Gadot, Wonder Woman, and DC Films.
