Wonder Woman & Jason Statham Team For Super Bowl Ad

Wonder Woman

If you’re a non-sports fan like myself, Super Bowl Sunday always brings with it a couple of inevitabilities. One, that pizza I ordered is gonna take at least 2 hours to get to my door, and two, there’s gonna be a ton of awesome Super Bowl commercials, trailers and TV spots to watch.

Today, website designing tool Wix has debuted their Super Bowl commercial a few weeks early, and it features none other than Wonder Woman herself, Gal Gadot, and The Fate of the Furious star Jason Statham doing what they do best: kicking ass and taking names (as well as getting their dessert to-go).

You can check out Wix’s Big Game Super Bowl spot below.

This is definitely an entertaining commercial, and it’s great to see the two actors having a bit of fun. At the very least, it just gets a geek like myself even more excited than I already was to see Gal Gadot kick more ass in this year’s Wonder Woman (possibly even Ares’).

I’m also hoping that this isn’t the only spot we see Gadot in this Super Bowl Sunday. A new Wonder Woman TV spot or even a brand new Justice League trailer would be fantastic!

Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers… and her true destiny.

The 51st Super Bowl kicks off Sunday, February 5th. The Fate of the Furious comes out April 14th, and Wonder Woman hits theaters June 2nd, 2017.

According to an Latino Review article, Wonder Woman is a disjointed mess.

:( I’m really hoping that’s not the case. If anyone needs me, I’ll just be living in my little bubble of denial until then.

it came from sasha from schmoes know on friday and every outlet is running with same story, they should put more effort and make their investigation from different source then it is more believable

Didn’t we go through this already several months ago? Patty Jenkins herself got online and basically said it was disinfo being spread around. Lol. Whatever to keep the DCEU hate train going I guess.

Of course the director of the movie denied the problems that doesn’t mean it’s not true.

      • Marquis de Sade

Yeah, like Patty is gonna be objective?

Doesn’t mean its true. This all came from none other than Collider’s Schmoes Know when Sasha Perl-Raver happened to say she knows someone who claims to have seen the movie and said it wasn’t good and was disjointed but then was irritated when everyone from fan sites to Yahoo movies was reporting on her single comment, to where she claimed it as being fake news and for everyone to just calm down because she didn’t even 100% buy her source’s comment. That’s what I’m taking away from this. Nothing but fake news all over again.
