A cosplayer channeling Wonder Woman’s Justice League: War look shares a striking resemblance to DC Films star Gal Gadot.
Lis Wonder, a cosplayer who looks just like Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot, recently revealed a fresh photo of herself cosplaying as the DC Comics heroine. Her costume is based on the design seen in the 2014 DC Animated Film Justice League: War, which opts for silver instead of gold on the Wonder Woman outfit.

Justice League: War is an adaptation of the first few issues of the New 52’s Justice League comics, showcasing how Wonder Woman and the rest of the titular team joined forces to fight off Darkseid and the invading forces of Apokolips. The story arc in question was a key influence on the live-action Justice League film, which also took elements from The Death and Return of Superman.
Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman will next be seen in Wonder Woman 1984, which is expected to be followed by a third film in the series. Gal Gadot’s career skyrocketed following her appearances in three DC Extended Universe movies, and it’s likely that she’ll be involved with Wonder Woman for a while.
Full details on the Wonder Woman 1984 plot are being kept under lock and key, but the film is said to follow Gal Gadot’s Diana Prince as she comes into conflict with the Soviet Union in the 1980s and encounters a formidable new adversary named Cheetah, played by Kristen Wiig.
Directed by Patty Jenkins from a script she co-wrote with David Callaham and a treatment she developed with Geoff Johns, Wonder Woman 1984 stars Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Kristen Wigg, Pedro Pascal, Natasha Rothwell, Ravi Patel, Gabriella Wilde, Connie Nielson, and Robin Wright.
Wonder Woman 1984 will be released in theaters on June 4, 2020. Stay tuned for the latest news on Gal Gadot, Wonder Woman and the rest of the Justice League.
