Wong Mentions The Avengers In ‘Doctor Strange’ TV Spot

Wong

Marvel Studios love reminding us that everything’s connected in their Cinematic Universe, and little bits like the following TV spot go a long way in proving this.

In one of many inbound TV spots for Marvel’s upcoming Doctor Strange, Kamar-Taj drill sergeant Wong tells the Sorcerer Supreme himself that:

“Heroes like the Avengers protect the world from physical dangers, we safeguard it from more mystical threats.”

We’re not expecting any of the Avengers to show their faces in the movie, but it’s still interesting finding out how it connects to the other movies in the franchise. What’s possibly more fascinating is the mystery of how it’ll connect to the upcoming Avengers movie, Infinity War. Our best assumption prior to watching Doctor Strange is that the Time Stone is in the Eye of Agamotto, and we all know Thanos needs to assemble these stones for the Infinity Gauntlet.
