Wyatt Russell Teases The Return Of Chris Evans’ Captain America

Is the real Cap coming back?

While The Falcon and The Winter Soldier has been about the mantle of Captain America being passed on to an unsuitable candidate in the form of Wyatt Russell’s John Walker, the star himself might’ve hinted that Chris Evans is set to return in the series as Steve Rogers. A recent TV spot for the series showed Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes poised for a fight with John, with Sam even stating that he needs to hand over the shield.

In a recent interview with BBC Radio 1’s Ali Plumb, Wyatt Russell was asked if he’d ever met Chris Evans, with the star explaining that he hasn’t directly met him but he’s walked by him somewhere. However he went on to say that the end of the series will shock audiences, and going from a conversation about Chris Evans to teasing something big is on the way definitely seems like a hint that the Captain America star could make a return.

“Have I ever met Chris Evans? I think I have. I don’t think I’ve ‘shook his hand’ met him, but I think I’ve walked by him somewhere and made eye contact. That counts as being a stalker, that doesn’t count as meeting anybody. But, I guess it would. You just gotta wait until the end of the series and then everybody will be like, ‘Oh, wow.’ Love it? Hate it? I don’t know.”
