Wyatt Russell has joined the cast of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier.
At Disney’s D23 Expo, Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige announced that Wyatt Russell has signed on to play John Walker in The Falcon and The Winter Soldier. In the comics, John Walker is better known as the U.S. Agent.
Kari Skoglan is reportedly directing all six episodes of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier from scripts penned by Malcolm Spellman and Derek Kolstad. The series stars Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, and Daniel Brühl with a scheduled Fall 2020 release on the Disney Plus streaming service.
The son of Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn, Wyatt Russell is best known for his work in films like Overlord, Everybody Wants Some!! and 22 Jump Street. He also had a starring role in the Black Mirror season three episode “Playtest.”
