New ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’ Featurette Focuses On The Film’s Story

The Bryan Singer directed X-Men: Apocalypse is almost here as it finally hits theaters internationally this Wednesday before debuting domestically on the 27th and a brand new featurette for the film has been released. While there’s nothing major here, this featurette  features a few new shots mixed in with the cast & crew discussing the film’s story. The initial response to the film was a bit mixed but has been getting more postive as time has gone on. Based on many things I’ve been told about the film, I’m excited to finally catch in a few weeks. Check out this new featurette for the film below and let us know what you think in the comments section afterwards.

Since the dawn of civilization, he was worshiped as a god. Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant from Marvel’s X-Men universe, amassed the powers of many other mutants, becoming immortal and invincible. Upon awakening after thousands of years, he is disillusioned with the world as he finds it and recruits a team of powerful mutants, including a disheartened Magneto (Michael Fassbender), to cleanse mankind and create a new world order, over which he will reign. As the fate of the Earth hangs in the balance, Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) with the help of Professor X (James McAvoy) must lead a team of young X-Men to stop their greatest nemesis and save mankind from complete destruction.

Only the strong will survive when X-Men: Apocalypse hits theaters on May 27, 2016.
