Bryan Singer’s X-Men: Apocalypse will be released on Digital HD tomorrow, but 20th Century Fox (via BuzzFeed) has just debuted the first official deleted clip from the movie. The clip will be included in the upcoming Blu-ray edition of the film, which will also feature a bunch of other special features.
In the brief clip, we see Jean Grey (played by Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner) practicing her archery skills. Singer actually shared a behind-the-scenes look at this scene back when the movie was still shooting, but it never made it into the final cut.
You can check out the deleted scene below.
Since the dawn of civilization, he was worshipped as a god. Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant from Marvel’s X-Men universe, amassed the powers of many other mutants, becoming immortal and invincible. Upon awakening after thousands of years, he is disillusioned with the world as he finds it and recruits a team of powerful mutants, including a disheartened Magneto (Michael Fassbender), to cleanse mankind and create a new world order, over which he will reign. As the fate of the Earth hangs in the balance, Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) with the help of Professor X (James McAvoy) must lead a team of young X-Men to stop their greatest nemesis and save mankind from complete destruction.
The cast features James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Oscar Isaac, Nicholas Hoult, Rose Byrne, Evan Peters, Tye Sheridan, Sophie Turner, Olivia Munn, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Alexandra Shipp, Lucas Till, Ben Hardy and Josh Helman.
X-Men: Apocalypse hits Blu-ray, 4K Ultra HD and DVD on October 4, 2016. The movie will also be available on Digital HD starting September 9th. What do you guys think?
