Some new images have made their way online from James Mangold’s upcoming sequel to The Wolverine and keep up the mystery surrounding the film. Just Jared has released some new images which feature our first look at Patrick Stewart as Charles Xavier in the film as well as a mysterious young actress in an unknown role. Could she be an established character? Perhaps they are going much younger for Laura Kinney aka ‘X-23’ than many had expected? And exactly just what is going on when it comes to this scene?
Details regarding this project are being kept heavily under wraps but the outlet reports that these set shots are from a scene involving the duo running out of a casino and into a truck. I’m very excited to see what Mangold delivers when the film hits theaters next year. There’s a lot of exciting comic book films coming out next year but this one is slowly moving up on my personal “most anticipated” and I’m excited to see what Mangold delivers when the film hits theaters next year.
