The latest episode of Young Justice: Outsiders brought back a major character from the first two seasons for a brief cameo.
The first two seasons of Young Justice centered on the adventures of Robin, Aqualad, Superboy, Miss Martian, Artemis, and Wally West/Kid Flash. However, the second season culminated with the Team and the Justice League joining forces to stop a series of natural disasters caused by magnetic disruptors controlled by The Reach.
While The Flash and Impulse were nearly succeeded in powering down the device by running around it at super speed, they weren’t able to fully stop it until Kid Flash joined them. Unfortunately, Kid Flash’s heroic actions seemingly cost him his life as he was last seen fading away from existence.
In the most recent episode of Young Justice: Outsiders, Nightwing begins experiencing fever dreams while battling Parademons in Granny Goodness’ Orphanage, a direct result of his time in the villain’s X-Pit. At one point, Nightwing finds himself knocked down and helped back up by Kid Flash, but the Team being de-aged to season 1 appearances and a haze on the screen signals indicates that these experiences are not real.
Are you hoping Kid Flash will return on Young Justice: Outsiders for real one day? Let us know below!
