‘Young Justice: Outsiders’ Reveals Superman Has [SPOILER]

Warning: This article contains spoilers for the current season of Young Justice: Outsiders.

So Superman has difficulty when it comes to members of his family, or at the very least clones of him if his strained relationship with Conner Kent is any indication. But the recent season of Young Justice has introduced a new family member to the Last Son of Krypton.

In the episode “Home Fires,” while Iris is holding her babysitting session for the children of superpowered parents, it’s only towards the end that Superman factors into this. Lois arrives with a child wearing a Superman outfit, indicating that she and Clark have tied the knot. And what is the child’s name? Jonathan Kent, who was also one of the characters to live through DC Comics New 52 reboot.

Between the reveal of Superman’s son and Talia al Ghul also having a son, maybe we’ll see the two sons team up in the future, should Young Justice continue to receive new life on the DC Universe streaming service. But what did you make of this reveal in regards to Superman and Lois’ relationship? And do you hope, maybe after a time skip, that we get to see more of future Jonathan Kent?

Let us know your thoughts on this Young Justice revelation in the comments below and stay tuned for more updates on the animated DC series.

Young Justice: Outsiders features voice work from Jesse McCartney, Nolan North, Stephanie Lemelin, Jason Spisak, Zehra Fazal, Troy Baker, Khary Payton, Alyson Stoner, Jason Marsden, Vanessa Marshall, Marina Sirtis, Mark Rolston, Kelly Hu, and Bruce Greenwood.

“From Warner Bros. Set against the backdrop of a rich, deep world that touches all corners of the DC universe, our heroes will face the new threat of metahuman-trafficking, and an intergalactic arms race for control of these super-powered youths.”
