Zachary Levi is gearing up for production on the upcoming DC standalone film, Shazam!, for which he stars in as the titular superhero.
Levi arrived in Toronto earlier this month where principal photography will commence soon. According to documentary filmmaker Bryce Wagoner, the actor has gotten “freaking jacked” for the upcoming role. Wagoner spotted Levi at fan screening for Star Wars: The Last Jedi in which he noticed how much muscle he has managed to gain for the role. The actor’s bulkier figure could be clearly seen at The Game Awards in Los Angeles last month.
You can check out Wagoner’s tweet below which was in response to the announcement of the film’s release date earlier today.
I saw @ZacharyLevi at TLJ fan screening and was too nervous to say anything. But he definitely has the strength of Hercules, is absolutely freaking JACKED RN, and is gonna totally kill it #TexasStrong https://t.co/hZ3EtKDeX5

What Walter Hamada Can Bring To DC Films
Walter Hamada has been announced as the new head of DC Films. This news was not entirely unexpected. Justice League did not perform well to anyone’s expectations, critically and financially. When a major tentpole does not perform well, there are bound to be shakeups within a studio. That means people are moved both out of and into positions of power.
So even though Hamada is now running things, there will still be time before we see his effect on the DC Extended Universe. Aquaman is already in post-production, Shazam! is in the middle of pre-production and Wonder Woman 2 is gearing up to start shooting later this year. That takes the franchise up to the end of 2019, giving Hamada enough time to really get acclimated before making an impact.
Here is just how he can do so. Click Next to see what Hamada can bring to DC Films!
