As we continue to edge closer to the release date for Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice, we’re learning new details about the film and the universe that Zack Snyder and company are building. While speaking at the ceremony which saw Bob Kane receive a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame earlier this week, the director spoke with 411 Mania and commented on building a universe where all the members of the Justice League could exist on screen together.

“Listen. I want to — we’re working toward Justice League, and I really want to create the — part of the thing I really want to create is the possibility of a world where they could exist together. I think up to this point, it’s been difficult to suggest a world where Batman and Superman and Wonder Woman and others could exist in the same universe. That was one of the things I really wanted to try and get at. Not to mention, the amazing opportunity to bring those characters and have those characters tell an important story, their own story, within the confines of a film.”

Zack Snyder also revealed some new details about the film’s Batmobile and its capabilities, some of these being new ones that we’ve never seen on the big screen before.

“You know it has all the kind of fun stuff. It has the countermeasures — we always talk about the countermeasures because people are like, “What the heck is countermeasures?” You know if I shot a missile at it, flares would pop out of those holes and stop the missile from hitting it.

So that’s fun. It’s got this crazy gun [on the front part of the vehicle]. It’s super-fast. It’s electrified. It can do all the other Bat-car stuff. But the cool thing I liked about it is that it’s a purpose built Batmobile, right? Which is kind of fun to get back to that.”

There’s been plenty of rumors about a new trailer being on the way and the director seemingly confirmed these rumors. When asked about a new trailer for the film, Snyder replied with “I think we got to have a trailer soon.” Just how soon? Well, the current rumor is that we might see a new full-length trailer for the film attached to next month’s Creed. Finally, the site asked the director if he’d have a cameo in the upcoming to which he revealed that he did but we won’t see his face and that he will “pick some things up, but that’s it.” Let us know your thoughts on Snyder’s comments below.
