Darkseid is... with DeSaad.

Zack Snyder Justice League Darkseid DeSaad

The trailer for Zack Snyder’s Justice League reveals Darkseid and DeSaad in action as the team rally to save the world.

After years of waiting, fans have finally got their first full look Zack Snyder’s Justice League thanks to the DC FanDome panel. But most importantly, the trailer had a stunning reveal of both Darkseid and DeSaad in the footage. The trailer comes after days of the director teasing the film’s presence at DC FanDome, and it’s safe to say that Snyder’s supporters weren’t disappointed by the new look at the film. It also begs the question, what else does the director have up his sleeve for the final product?

The Justice League trailer also showed off a vastly different version of the final battle that gets rid of the red skies that are synonymous with the Crisis events in the DC continuity. We also got to see new footage of the team rallying around each other as they try to face the monstrously redesigned version of Steppenwolf. But the main take-away from the video is how impressive Darkseid and DeSaad look in live action. Hopefully the full film will feature more of Apokoliptian villains when it debuts on HBO Max next year. Watch the first footage of Darkseid and Desaad in Zack Snyder’s Justice League cut below.
