Zack Snyder Tells Fans Don’t Give Up Hope For His Cut Of ‘Justice League’

Batman v Superman Justice League Zack Snyder Cut Green Lantern

Fan support for the Snyder Cut of Justice League isn’t going away any and Zack Snyder has told fans not to give up hope for his cut of the DC film.

As we all know, Zack Snyder’s 2017 film, Justice League was something of a letdown. The film was unfortunately plagued with production problems that began with a dramatic shift in direction while the film was in the middle of production. Justice League ran into an even bigger problem when director Zack Snyder had to leave the project due to a personal tragedy, with director Joss Whedon taking over post-production duties. This resulted in an extensive round of reshoots and ended with a film that most described, at best, as underwhelming.

Due to the constant production problems and changes in directors, fans have theorized that somewhere a cut of Zack Snyder’s version of Justice League is hidden away and have demanded that the studio releases said this version of the film. The #ReleaseTheSnyderCut movement recently had new life breathed into it when both Ben Affleck and Gal Gadot posted their support for Zack Snyder’s cut of the film on their social media accounts. But now Zack Snyder himself is telling fans not to lose hope that his version of the film may see the light of day.

One fan asked Zack Snyder for him to say something about his cut of Justice League and that he was losing hope. Zack Snyder responded by telling him not to:

What do you all make of the #ReleaseTheSnyderCut movement? Is it just a pipe dream? Do you think Warner Bros secretly has a version of the film locked away somewhere? Let us know what you think in the comments below!

Here is the official synopsis for Zack Snyder’s Justice League:

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Directed by Zack Snyder, Justice League stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Connie Nielsen, J. K. Simmons, and Ciarán Hinds.

Justice League is now available on Blu-Ray, DVD, and Digital HD.
