‘Justice League’: Zack Snyder Teases Jared Leto’s Joker Look With New Photo

Ha. Ha. Ha.

Joker Jared Leto Justice League Zack Snyder

Zack Snyder has once again revealed a surprising image from his Justice League cut with a new photo of Jared Leto’s Joker.

Many fans were surprised to learn that Jared Leto’s Joker will play a role in Justice League, since the star didn’t feature in the theatrical cut of the film – and the story didn’t exactly warrant the inclusion of the Clown Prince of Crime. But director Zack Snyder recently confirmed that Leto will briefly return to the role in a short scene, although it’s not yet clear how the Joker will play a part in the grand fight against Darkseid’s forces.

Zack Snyder posted the new image to Vero (of course) and Twitter, while praising Suicide Squad director David Ayer for the vision of the villain that he created back in 2016. The black and white photo shows off a blurry Jared Leto in the background, with the playing card in focus. Just from the out-of-focus image, it seems like the villain has longer hair since the last time audiences saw him. Although it’s not clear if he still has that ‘Damaged’ forhead tattoo… Take a look below.

What do you make of the new photo of Jared Leto in Justice League? Are you excited to see how he plays into the plot? Sound-off in the comments below!

Here is the official synopsis for Zack Snyder’s Justice League:

“In ZACK SNYDER’S JUSTICE LEAGUE, determined to ensure Superman’s (Henry Cavill) ultimate sacrifice was not in vain, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) aligns forces with Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) with plans to recruit a team of metahumans to protect the world from an approaching threat of catastrophic proportions. The task proves more difficult than Bruce imagined, as each of the recruits must face the demons of their own pasts to transcend that which has held them back, allowing them to come together, finally forming an unprecedented league of heroes. Now united, Batman (Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and The Flash (Ezra Miller) may be too late to save the planet from Steppenwolf, DeSaad and Darkseid and their dreadful intentions.”

Directed by Zack Snyder, Justice League stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Connie Nielsen, J. K. Simmons, and Ciarán Hinds.

Zack Snyder’s Justice League cut is expected to hit WarnerMedia’s HBO Max on March 18, 2021. Stay tuned for the latest news regarding Jared Leto’s Joker and the Zack Snyder Cut, and make sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for more content!
