‘Justice League’: Darkseid Rules Apokolips In New Promo Image

A new look at Darkseid has been revealed!

Justice League Zack Snyder Cut Trailer Darkseid HBO Max Zack Snyder's Justice League

A new piece of merchandise for Zack Snyder’s Justice League reveals another look at Darkseid with him sitting on the throne of Apokolips.

While the general story beats of Zack Snyder’s Justice League are largely known, one element that remains in mystery is Darkseid’s role. We know he will appear as Uxas during the “history lesson” sequence of the film at the beginning and at some point near the end after Steppenwolf’s defeat. So far, Darkseid has been featured heavily in the promotional material for Zack Snyder’s Justice League, which could mean that the villain might have a bigger role than what was originally thought.

A proper look at a younger Darkseid was seen in the first Zack Snyder’s Justice League trailer, but a T-shirt recently gave us a look at his armored design. Leading up to the release of the Snyder Cut, DC has revealed another glimpse at Darkseid that also comes in the form of a T-shirt. You can check out the new Darkseid shirt below:

Here is the official synopsis for Justice League:

“In ZACK SNYDER’S JUSTICE LEAGUE, determined to ensure Superman’s (Henry Cavill) ultimate sacrifice was not in vain, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) aligns forces with Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) with plans to recruit a team of metahumans to protect the world from an approaching threat of catastrophic proportions. The task proves more difficult than Bruce imagined, as each of the recruits must face the demons of their own pasts to transcend that which has held them back, allowing them to come together, finally forming an unprecedented league of heroes. Now united, Batman (Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and The Flash (Ezra Miller) may be too late to save the planet from Steppenwolf, DeSaad and Darkseid and their dreadful intentions.”

Directed by Zack Snyder, Justice League stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Connie Nielsen, J. K. Simmons, and Ciarán Hinds.

Zack Snyder’s Justice League cut is expected to hit WarnerMedia’s HBO Max on March 18, 2021. Stay tuned for the latest news regarding Darkseid, and make sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for more content!
