New behind-the-scenes photos from Zack Snyder’s original Justice League history lesson scene have surfaced online.

Among the many changes made to Justice League after Zack Snyder exited the project were alterations to the film’s history lesson scene, which depicted the battle between Steppenwolf and the united forces of Earth through flashbacks recounted by Wonder Woman. Now, Justice League cinematographer Fabian Wagner has shared two behind-the-scenes photos of Zack Snyder’s original history lesson, offering insight into how the scene was realized on screen.

The photos feature Connie Nielsen and Robin Wright, who reprised their respective Wonder Woman roles for the Justice League scene in which their characters lead the Amazonians against Steppenwolf and his forces. The first photo features Connie Nielsen and Robin Wright on horses inside of a stage surrounded by greenscreen while the second image features the performers on “action horses” for close-up shots.
