Zack Snyder has shared a new Justice League photo featuring Silas Stone and the Ryan Choi version of the Atom.
It’s no secret the production of Zack Snyder’s Justice League was an incredibly troubled one, with several changes being made to the film right before its release. Several characters notably had their roles altered, reduced and/or flat out cut from what was originally intended. As it turns out, one such role was that of the Ryan Choi version of The Atom.
Created by Gail Samone and Grant Morrison, Ryan Choi is the third character to hold the superhero title of The Atom. First introduced in DCU: Brave New World #1, Ryan Choi was a protégé of the original Atom, Ray Palmer, and took his mantle after Palmer mysteriously disappeared. Since his creation, the character has only appeared once in live-action, popping up in the recent Arrowverse crossover event Crisis on Infinite Earths on The CW. But, if Zack Snyder had had his way, Ryan Choi would have made his live-action debut working alongside Silas Stone in Justice League. You can check out the new Justice League photo below.
What do you all make of this photo? What role do you think Ryan Choi/The Atom would have played in Zack Snyder’s version of the Justice League? What was his relationship with Silas Stone? Sound-off your thoughts in the comments section!
