Zoe Saldana has shared a brand new look at Gamora in a behind-the-scene image for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.

The Guardians are set to return very soon. Marvel’s sci-fi adventure series is set to make a big splash in 2023 when they return to the big screen. Details are slim on James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, though we do know that Will Poulter will be making his debut as Adam Warlock. While we don’t know what to expect, it’s safe to theorize that the threequel will expand upon the events of Avengers: Endgame, which saw a Gamora from the past crossing paths with the Guardians.

A key member of the Guardians of the Galaxy, it’s hard to imagine the franchise without Zoe Saldana’s Gamora. Now that the character has been resurrected in a way, it will be interesting to see how she squares off Chris Pratt’s Peter Quill, a man she has no memory of loving.

As the year comes to a close, Zoe Saldana took to Instagram to share the “many faces” she made throughout 2021. One such face naturally included getting decked out as Gamora, a character who requires tons of make-up. The first photo in a batch of many gives fans a brand new look at Gamora ahead of her return in the Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special and the upcoming threequel.
