Sony Drops New ‘Zombieland: Double Tap’ Red Band Trailer

Sony Pictures Entertainment released a new red band trailer for Zombieland: Double Tap.

Ten years after Columbus, Tallahassee, Wichita and Little Rock were introduced to audiences in Zombieland, the whole gang will return for Sony’s long-awaited sequel. Titled Zombieland: Double Tap, the film will follow the gang as they encounter new survivors in the zombie apocalypse on their latest adventure.

Now, Sony has released a new action-packed red band trailer for Zombieland: Double Tap that spotlights the perils the group will face when they embark on a rescue mission after Little Rock leaves with a mysterious man. The red band trailer also offers viewers a glimpse at Bill Murray’s cameo for a scene in which he appears to be discussing his appearance in the first Zombieland film.

Here is the official synopsis for Zombieland: Double Tap:

A decade after Zombieland became a hit film and a cult classic, the lead cast (Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Abigail Breslin, and Emma Stone) have reunited with director Ruben Fleischer (Venom) and the original writers Rhett Reese & Paul Wernick (Deadpool) for Zombieland 2: Double Tap. In the sequel, written by Rhett Reese & Paul Wernick and Dave Callaham, through comic mayhem that stretches from the White House and through the heartland, these four slayers must face off against the many new kinds of zombies that have evolved since the first movie, as well as some new human survivors. But most of all, they have to face the growing pains of their own snarky, makeshift family.

 Directed by Ruben Fleischer from a script written by Rhett Reese & Paul Wernick and Dave Callaham, Zombieland: Double Tap stars Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone, Abigail Breslin, Rosario Dawson, Zoey Deutch, Thomas Middleditch, and Luke Wilson.

Zombieland: Double Tap will be released in theatres on October 11, 2019.

‘Titans’ Season 2 Episode 5 ‘Deathstroke’ Photos & Synopsis Released

Titans Season 2 Poster Robin, Starfire, Beast Boy, Jason Todd, Superboy, Dove, Wonder Girl Batman Iain Glen DeathstrokeDC Universe released the official synopsis and photos for the upcoming episode of Titans titled "Deathstroke."

After learning that new incarnation of the Titans has formed, Deathstroke vowed to keep his promise to Dick Grayson and set forth to kill all members of the new team. Towards the end of the third episode of Titans season 2, Deathstroke managed to ambush and kidnap Jason Todd/Robin.

Now, DC Universe has released the official synopsis for the fifth episode of season 2, titled Deathstroke, and it teases a rift in the team after Slade Wilson reveals what he wants in exchange for Jason Todd/Robin:

With the team thrown into upheaval, Dick and the others vow to do everything in their power to save Jason Todd's life. Gar's guilt over Jason's kidnapping complicates the mission to save their fellow Titan, while Rachel's dark secret continues to gnaw at her. When Deathstroke demands they turn over Rose in exchange for Jason, the moral crisis threatens to tear the team apart from the inside.

The series stars Brenton Thwaites as Richard “Dick” Grayson / Robin, Anna Diop as Koriand’r / Starfire, Teagan Croft as Rachel Roth / Raven, and Ryan Potter as Garfield “Gar” Logan / Beast Boy. Newcomers for its sophomore outing include Joshua Orpin and Esai Morales playing Superboy and Deathstroke, respectively, while Chella Man and Chelsea Zhang have also joined the cast as Deathstroke’s children. Natalie Gumede has signed on to play Mercy Graves and Game of Thrones star Iain Glen is on board as Bruce Wayne, a.k.a. Batman.
