We have a lot of exciting things to look forward to at the convention with several movie studios and television networks hosting panels which will feature cast and crew of various shows and movies promoting their products.

With just a week away, me and fellow Heroic Hollywood colleague Christian Stoic are teaming up today to list 10 things that we expect as well as want to be announced or revealed at this year’s Comic-Con from various studios and networks like Warner Bros/DC, Disney/Marvel and more. I want to now if Beta Ray Bill is in Thor 3 and if Moonknight is going to make it to Netflix.

  • Marysocontrary

I would like to see something from Supergirl, but as they don’t start filming the second season until the Monday after Comic Con, I really don’t expect much other than bloopers from last season and possibly a few deleted scenes. Also don’t expect much from LoT as they will have barely started filming their second season before SDCC. If either has anything, it would probably be something like the Zoom is coming trailer they had for The Flash last year.

Both shows have their own presentations during the Con.

Supergirl will be returning for more supercharged adventures in the show’s new home on The CW this fall! Wondering who’s in that pod, or what will be bringing Superman to National City? Join the series’ cast and creative team for a special video presentation, followed by a discussion of these season 2 hot topics and more! From Berlanti Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television, Supergirl’s second season will premiere Mondays at 8/7c this fall on The CW. Supergirl: The Complete First Season will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on August 9.

C’s Legends of Tomorrow Special Video Presentation and Q&A (DCTV)

After saving the world-and all of time-from the immortal madman Vandal Savage, then bidding farewell to two of their fellow comrades, Hawkman and Hawkgirl, the Legends received an unexpected visit from a mysterious new ally, Rex Tyler, who gives the team a brand new mission. What that mission is, how the Justice Society of America will factor in, and who will be aboard the Waverider when The CW’s Super Hero team-up series returns for its second season are questions that the cast and creative team will seek to answer when they descend on San Diego for their second visit to Comic-Con. From Berlanti Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow airs Thursdays at 8/7c on The CW, and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow: The Complete First Season will be released on Blu-ray combo pack, DVD and Digital HD on August 23.

I know what they are going to have. I’m talking about there won’t be any footage from the second season as they won’t have anything filmed.

  • Grant McCollister

Whatq about announcing new Marvel/Netflix shows, Daredevil season 3, the villain(s) of The Defenders, something about Iron Fist and/or The Punisher series? What about the big bad of AoS season 4, the new director of SHIELD, or Ghost Rider (if the flaming chains do represent Ghost Rider)? Something about Gotham maybe, or anything about the recently announced Marvel/Fox X-Men show? the

    • Worldmind

We might find out more about Cloak & Dagger as well. Having a character like Ghost Rider and delving into supernatural part of the MCU, just as Doctor Strange will be doing, would really reinvigorate AOS

      • Grant McCollister

Oh yeah, I forgot about Cloak and Dagger! I also hope we find out if the new X-Men show is set in the MCU, maybe it could at least crossover with the other Marvel shows

  • Worldmind

If Thor Ragnarok were filming in US or Canada, a brief presence at SDCC might be viable, but the fact they’re in middle of filming in Australia, it’s not as likely. A Spider-Man panel would be cool, with announcements of characters (who is Michael Keaton playing??)

  • Worldmind

What about stuff that isn’t Marvel/DC?? I’m sure Disney/Lucasfilm will be holding something over from Star Wars Celebration, maybe a title-reveal for EpVIII and an official title for the Han Solo movie. My guess: “Han Solo: A Star Wars Story” … I know, I impress myself sometimes.

  • SAMURAI36

LOL at people looking for Marvel reveals at SDCC now. Apparently people didn’t get the memo that SDCC now belongs to WB/DC. Anything else is just a footnote.
