10 Things We Expect & Want Announced At Comic-Con 2016

San Diego Comic-Con

Doctor-Strange

8: Doctor Strange & Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol 2 Footage

Andy Behbakht: Given that there have been so many darn signs for Doctor Strange and Guardians of the Galaxy: Volume 2 being present at Comic-Con, I expect these two upcoming Marvel films to have a large presence at the Marvel panel next Saturday, which is going to be around 75 minutes long according to the official Comic-Con schedule. Marvel panels has always been one of my favorite parts of Comic-Con, whether I’m in the Hall H room or not and I think that as we are getting further into Phase 3 with both new and continuing franchises, Comic-Con should be quite the event this year for Marvel.

Christian Stoic: Marvel has been doing an excellent job of keeping their Cinematic Universe in a strict schedule and constantly having content and this year is no exception. After the wildly successful Civil War was released earlier this year they currently have Doctor Strange to be lined up for later this year. The film has only had one trailer so far so they are bound to bring another one specifically for SDCC and it will highlight a lot more of what we expect the film to bring this November. A film that I hope goes into some “Strange” territories and opens up the more magical and mystical side of the MCU, which is exciting. I also expect that since Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 finished filming recently James Gunn will bring footage to show off at SDCC like he did a few years ago when they showed the Teaser Trailer in 2013. I expect that this footage won’t be a lot, but just enough to tease fans who are excited. Seeing as Guardians of the Galaxy is my favorite MCU film, I am expecting this and excited for it.
