New set photos from Kraven the Hunter‘s shoot in London provide a great look at Aaron Taylor-Johnson as the Spider-Man villain.
Sony is moving forward with their Spider-Man spin-off slate despite the poor box office and reception of Morbius. The studio recently dated their Madame Web film that will star Dakota Johnson, but Aaron Taylor-Johnson’s Kraven the Hunter will hit theaters first.
Filming on Kraven has been happening in London, and we previously got a look at Taylor-Johnson’s stunt double, which gave us a good idea of what he will look like in the film. New set photos from Just Jared feature Taylor-Johnson himself, and he appears to be filming that exact sequence. You can check out the images below.
The Kraven movie is being helmed by J. C. Chandor, the director behind 2011โsย Margin Callย and 2014โsย A Most Violent Year. Art Marcum, Matt Holloway, and Richard Wenk worked on the screenplay, while Avi Arad and Matt Tolmach are on board as producers.
Created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko, Kraven made his debut in the pages of 1964โsย The Amazing Spider-Man #15. One of Spider-Manโs most famous villains, Kraven is best known for his role in the comic book storylineย Kravenโs Last Huntย by J. M. DeMatteis and Mike Zeck.
Kraven the Hunterย is currently knee-deep into production, and the filmโs cast has been expanding over the past few weeks. Aaron Taylor-Johnson is leading the project’s ensemble with Russell Crowe, Fred Hechinger, Ariana DeBose, Christopher Abbott, Alessandro Nivola, and Levi Miller on its call sheet.
Kraven the Hunterย is currently scheduled to hit theaters on January 13, 2023. Stay tuned for the latest news regarding the upcoming movie, Sony’s other Spider-Man projects, and make sure you subscribe toย our YouTube channelย for more content!
