‘Across The Spider-Verse’ International Trailer Makes Fans Fear The Spot

Fear The Spot!

Miles Morales vs The Spot Spider-Man Across The Spider-Verse

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is set to bring fans along with Miles Morales on his quest to stop The Spot and save the multiverse. The brand new international trailer shows off exactly why this D-List villain is a force to be feared.

Details about how The Spot, played by Jason Schwartzman, will play into the plot of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse have been kept close to the chest by Marvel, with his character barely appearing in any of the trailers. However, a new TV spot for the film shows off a brand new sequence showing off the not-so-fearsome villain robbing a bodega before the trailer reveals a character to truly be feared. The full trailer can be seen below:

The Spot is a D-List comic villain known as Johnathan Ohnn who has the powers to throw spots from his body which act as portals to a ‘Spotted Dimension’. Despite being functionally immortal and giving Spider-Man a run for his money on multiple occasions, he’s never been a favorite among fans. However, it seems as though Miles Morales will be facing a brand new version of the character in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-verse, with The Spot seemingly having the power to travel through the multiverse. While the film paints the character as the buffoon fans expect, he may be the most dangerous villain Miles has faced yet!
