See Adrien Brody As The Joker For Robert Pattinson’s ‘The Batman’

It's back to basics for Brody.

A new concept design for Robert Pattinson’s The Batman universe imagines Adrien Brody as The Joker.

The excitement around Robert Pattinson’s The Batman continues to rise following all the surprising set photos that surfaced online over the last few months, but fans are still wondering whether Matt Reeves will introduce a new version of the Joker for his cinematic universe. One surprising candidate for the role suggested on Instagram was The Pianist and King Kong star Adrien Brody.

Most recently, Adrien Brody appeared as a formidable gangster Luca Changretta in BBC’s Peaky Blinders, and it seems like it’s his performance in the gritty crime drama which has inspired the fan edit from digital artist ‘ryans.reviews’ on Instagram. It’s an intimidating look for the Joker, which leans into the classic gangster element to the villain rather than the typical unhinged serial killer. With Brody’s acting prowess, it would definitely be fascinating to see him go up against Robert Pattinson in The Batman. You can see Adrien Brody as The Joker below.

The plot of The Batman is being kept under lock and key, but we know the film will follow Robert Pattinson as a younger Bruce Wayne, chronicling Batman during his second year as Gotham City’s Caped Crusader. The Batman will also show off the hero using his skills as a detective more than what we’ve seen before in previous versions of the character. It is also expected to be the first installment in a new trilogy of films starring Pattinson.

Directed by Matt Reeves from a script he co-wrote with Mattson Tomlin, Robert Pattinson stars as the Caped Crusader, Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, Paul Dano as the Riddler, Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner James Gordon, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, Peter Sarsgaard as Gil Colson, Jayme Lawson as Bella Reál, with Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, and Colin Farrell as the Penguin.

The Batman is currently set to open in theaters on March 4, 2022. Stay tuned to Heroic Hollywood for all the latest news regarding Robert Pattinson, Adrien Brody and The Joker, and make sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for more video content.
