Is there a future for Agatha All Along? Scrapped post-credits scenes for the series have supposedly been revealed with a recent rumor.
Fans were floored with the surprise two-part finale to Agatha All Along. The series seemed to wrap up all of its mysteries in a neat bow, resolving all of its biggest questions while leaving the door open for Wiccan and Agatha to continue their journeys in subsequent projects. However, a new rumor implies that there may have been more planned for the future in a pair of scrapped post-credits scenes.
This rumor stems from scooper MyTimeToShineHello, who revealed that two post-credits scenes had been written for Agatha All Along before ultimately being scrapped. The first played off the series’ current ending with Agatha and Wiccan disappearing through a portal on their hunt for the reincarnated Tommy Maximoff. The scene was apparently supposed to continue after the credits rolled, revealing Aubrey Plaza’s Rio (now revealed to be the MCU’s incarnation of Death) following after the dynamic duo.
Jennifer Kale’s Secret Future In The MCU
While Death’s return in the MCU is certainly enticing given her dynamic with Agatha, it’s the second scrapped post-credits scene that may tip Marvel’s hand at their plans beyond Agatha All Along. Another posted rumor by MyTimeToShineHello reveals that Jennifer Kale was also set to return during the credits, tracking down the doctor that originally bound her powers and discovering that he is somehow still alive after centuries.
This doesn’t reveal anything about the MCU’s future directly, but having it scrapped from Agatha All Along suggests that it doesn’t fit with Marvel’s vision of the future. Given Jennifer Kale has heavy ties to characters like Ghost Rider and Man-Thing, as well as teams like the Midnight Suns, it’s possible that the studio axed the post-credits scene as to not contradict their plans further down the line.
