During an appearance at LA Comic-Con, former Agents of SHIELD stars Brett Dalton and Mallory Jansen weighed in on whether or not their characters could have survived the events of Avengers: Infinity War.
Thanos’ extermination of half of the population in the universe in Avengers: Infinity War has left fans wondering which MCU characters survived the snap, especially those who weren’t involved in the recent Marvel Studios epic. While Brett Dalton’s Grant Ward and Mallory Jansen’s Aida both met their demise on Agents of SHIELD before the events of the third Avengers film, both actors offered the following response when asked how their characters might have fared if they were still alive:
Brett Dalton: “Why you have to put that restriction in it? “If they’re alive?” Why you gotta rub it in our faces that we died?” [Thinks it over] “Yeah, sure.”
Mallory Jansen: “Yeah! It’s Marvel, we never really die.”Dalton: “Exactly.”
