‘Ahsoka’ First Look Revealed In Disney Plus Promo Video

Disney Plus has offered fans a first look at its upcoming Star Wars series Ahsoka.

Rosario Dawson made her debut as Ahsoka Tano in the second season of of the Disney Plus series The Mandalorian before reprising the role in The Book of the Boba Fett. Now, Ahsoka is getting her own series on the streaming service, with Dawson returning as the fan-favorite Star Wars hero.

This morning, Disney released a new promotional video for its streaming service, promoting its 2032 releases. The video includes the first official footage from Ahsoka, showing Rosario Dawson in full costume and with makeup as the titular character. You can check out the video below.

More footage from Ahsoka was shown during the recent Mandalorian panel at Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim, California. The sizzle reel, which has not been released online, opened with Ahsoka in a ship before teasing the live-action debut of Hera Syndulla and the droid Huyang. It ended with Sabine Wren walking up to artwork of the Ghost crew from Star Wars Rebels.

The Ahsoka Tano series is being developed by Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni. The latter co-created Ahsoka alongside George Lucas, with the heroine making her first apppearance in the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

The cast of the Ahsoka Tano series includes Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren, Eman Esfandi as Ezra Bridger and Hayden Christensen as Anakin Skywalker, a.k.a. Darth Vader. Ivanna Sakhno, Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Ray Stevenson are also on board in undisclosed roles.
