Eman Esfandi is confirmed to be in Spider-Man: Brand New Day! The Ahsoka star’s role has seemingly been revealed in the first trailer for the film.
One of the actors that has long-been reported to appear in Spider-Man: Brand New Day is Eman Esfandi, best known for his role as Ezra Bridgers in the Star Wars franchise. However, due to the rather sparse promotion the film got prior to the trailer dropping, fans still weren’t entirely sure if he was even in the film – let alone who he’d be playing.
The trailer provided answers to both of those questions. Not only is Eman Esfandi now officially confirmed to appear in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, but it seems fans now know what role he’ll play. Given the footage shows him flirting with Zendaya’s MJ, all signs point to him playing her new boyfriend in the upcoming film.
Who Is Eman Esfandi REALLY Playing In Spider-Man: Brand New Day?
Of course, it’s likely that Eman Esfandi’s role won’t JUST be MJ’s boyfriend. This leaves a few possibilities open as to what character he’ll be playing in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Perhaps the funniest option would be Paul, the boogeyman of the Spider-Man fandom who dated MJ in the recent (and controversial) comic run.
But given Eman Esfandi’s pedigree with science fiction, it’s possible that Marvel Studios brought him on for a bigger role. Some speculate that he could secretly be playing Harry Osborn in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. It’s heavily rumored that Tom Holland will be facing off against his own version of the Green Goblin, so introducing his son early on could be a fun way to backdoor the character into this new trilogy.
