Ahsoka is set to be a successor to the Star Wars animated shows its’ title character was taken from. A new TV spot teases the return of Ahsoka Tano’s mentor from those shows: Anakin Skywalker.
Following his return as Anakin Skywalker in Obi-Wan Kenobi, fans have been clamoring for Hayden Christensen to return in more projects. It seems as though, for once, Star Wars fans’ prayers have been answered. A new TV spot for Ahsoka showcases brand new dialogue from her fallen mentor.
It should be noted that the footage of Hayden Christensen as Anakin Skywalker isn’t what’s new, as it’s simply repurposed footage from Obi-Wan Kenobi. It’s only the dialogue that’s unique to Ahsoka. However, that dialogue certainly spells good news for Star Wars fans, potentially suggesting an appearance by the actor before the series’ end.
The creative team cast of Ahsoka
The Ahsoka Tano series is being developed by Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni. The latter co-created Ahsoka alongside George Lucas, with the heroine making her first appearance in the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
